Project Management and Mapping AS (PMM) is a Norwegian incorporated company founded in 2000. The company is supplying consultancy services within mapping and cadastre. During the last years the company has also undertaken cadastre mapping projects including responsibility for all field work activities.

The company was founded by Mr Fredrik Steiwer after terminating more than 20 years of service in a large Norwegian surveying and mapping company.

Since the foundation, PMM has accomplished consultancy work related to all Former Yugoslavian Republics, Bulgaria, El Salvador, Guatemala, Indonesia, Moldova, Norway, Palestine, Tajikistan and Trinidad and Tobago. Main tasks have been:

• Project management

• Quality management, quality assurance and quality control

• Business development and planning

• Preparation of Terms of Reference

• Preparation of prequalification and tender documents

• IT/computer support

• Consultancy within photogrammetry and cadastre

• Database strategies, design (modelling) and implementations

• Development and implementation of web viewers

• Development of exchange formats (GML)

• Appraisal of donor funded project application

• Fact finding mission and design of cadastre and registry project

• Cadastre reconstruction, building and part of building registration

The company has developed a network of consultants with extensive international experience available for different types of consultancy.
