PMM has undertaken consultancy work in all Former Yugoslavian Republics, giving valuable experience of the historical background of the former Yugoslavia.

PMM has conducted a comparative study on cadastre and land administration in former Yugoslavia, i.e. Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina (RS and FBiH), Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Macedonia.

Work in Croatia comprise work for the State Geodetic Administration and Croatian Geodetic Institute and includes Database Design, specification of GML Exchange Formats, set-up of Quality Control Systems for topographic maps, orthophotos and scanned/vectorised cadastral maps, procurement documents (Invitation to Bid, Terms of Reference, Draft Contracts, Evaluation Criteria etc.). Consultancies in Croatia also comprises the analysis and methodology development for determination of the Maritime Domain of Croatia (determination of the 6 meters belt along the coast of Croatia). Refer to the Maritime Domain Project Zadar (MDPZ).

Consultancy work has been given to Kosovo Cadastral Agency (KCA) through the Kosovo Cadastral Support Program (KCSP). KCSP I comprised support to the Municipal Cadastral Offices within use of computers handling register and GIS tasks. Also included was IT support to KCA’s computer installations. 

The Institutional Strengthening and Cadaster Reconstruction Pilot Project of KCSP II covered organisation development and business planning within KCA, development of private sector in cadastre measurement and surveying during reconstruction, building and part of building registration.

PMM has been carrying out a Feasibility Study on production of orthophoto for the Agency for Real Estate Cadastre.

PMM has prepared Technical Specifications for Aerial Photography, Lidar Scanning and preparation of Orthophotos.

In Slovenia PMM has developed Bid Documents for the Register of Pledges on Movable Assets.

Bulgaria

Work undertaken in Bulgaria comprised preparation of a Proposal for the Agriculture and Forestry Cadastre in Bulgaria. PMM also supplied a consultant for work as Acting Project Manager during the initiation of the project.

Romania

PMM has supplied a Project Manager to the Land Administration Knowledge Improvement (LAKI) Project Lot 2 in the National Agency of Cadastre and Land Registration (ANCPI) in Romania. The main objective was to improve the study and research capacity of ANCPI, especially in the area of primary geodesy and positioning services in order to set up the ANCPI Study Centre.

Moldova

PMM has signed a contract for consultancy work towards the Agency for Land Relations and Cadastre (ALRC) in Chisinau, Moldova. Work comprises preparation of Terms of Reference and procurement documents for line map production.

Kyrgyzstan

PMM has supplied an International Cadastral Mapping Expert to the Second Land and Real Estate Registration Project (SLRERP) in the Kyrgyz Republic. The consultancy covered procurement support (evaluation of bids), technical assistance within cadastral mapping and organisation of QC of digitising and georeferencing services.

Tajikistan

PMM has been contracted for cadastral consultancy in connection with development of bid documents for a cadastral project.

Guatemala

In Guatemala PMM has been responsible for supplying two Cadastre Experts as part of a Norwegian team undertaking a Study for Land Management and Land Information System in Guatemala (Department of Izabal).

Trinidad and Tobago

PMM has supplied a consultant as Project Manager to a mapping project covering all Trinidad and Tobago. Topographic maps and orthophotos were produced from aerial photos in scale 1:12,500 or 1:25,000.

Indonesia

PMM has developed a Strategy Plan and Proposal for Spatial Database for the Indonesian Mapping Authority (BAKOSURTANAL).

Work in Indonesia also comprises a feasibility study for the Indonesian Spatial Database for BAKOSURTANAL and a Mapping Strategy Study for the National Land Agency (Badan Pertanahan Nasional, BPN).

Palestine

PMM has undertaken appraisal of a donor funded project application in Palestine.
