Maritime Domain Project Zadar, Analysis
and Methodology component details
The
Croatian Maritime Domain and Seaport Act (2003) defines that the Maritime Domain
(MD) is the strip of land between the Mean Higher High Water line and a 6
meter parallel onshore. The MD parcel has to be registered before
concessions can be given.
Achievements
of the Analysis and Methodology component of the Maritime Domain Project
Zadar (MDPZ) are
described below.

Main clients were State
Geodetic Administration (SGA) and Zadar County (Zadarska Županija).
SGA is the Croatian agency for
cadastre and mapping. Among others responsible for establishment and
maintenance of topographic data (TD) produced from aerial photos in
1:20,000 and the TK 25 map series scale 1:25,000 derived from TD.
Zadarska Županija is the county
administration for Zadar county at the Adriatic coast of Croatia. |
PMM's achievements in MDPZ can be
summarised as follows:

Development
of an Analysis and Methodology Manual with Technical Specifications
for creation of Maritime Domain parcels, including procedures and
practical results from start to end.

Develop
and implement a Concession register for Zadar County office.

Develop
and implement IT-communication between Cadastre and County offices.

Describe
and develop the procedures for export of Maritime Domain parcels to
Zadar County office with copy to the Central Cadastral Database
maintained by SGA in Zagreb.
